    Is there a reason why Saigon Xuan Thanh use Saigon and not Ho Chi Minh City in their title?

    What's the reason behind Saigon Xuan Thanh rather than being named as a Ho Chi Minh City Xuan Thanh?

    To many people in the city and surrounding region, Sai Gon is a more popular name. I guess that name helps the club earn more love from locals. Moreover, it's shorter and catchier.
