SLNA fans looking for changes

Finishing at third position last season was a big success for SLNA, a club that had suffered financial difficulties for a long time. Entering V-League 2010, SLNA are expected to repeat the same result or at least stand among top clubs because they are now financially backed by Bac A Bank with a budget of more than 30 billion VND ($ 1.5 million). Moreover, they welcome the return of home-born coach Nguyen Huu Thang, who successfully brought Ha Noi T&T from bottom position to 4th place last year.

Yet, what fans expect doesn't have much chance to come true. After 20 rounds of V-League 2010, SLNA found themselves at 11th position in the table, a much worse result comparing to what the did last year. More importantly, the club is now facing the threat of playing relegation play-off game. SLNA is a longstanding club and their fans who are among the most loyal ones are calling for changes. They want the bosses to do something to save the club. If not, looking at their terrible form, we can hardly believe SLNA can rise up again in the rest of the season.
