Former Dong Thap striker failed to complete his move to Atletico Madrid and Sporting Braga as he couldn't get ITC from VFF. The move was blocked because the Nigerian signed a contract with Ha Noi T&T a few months ago and also received a decent amount of money. After final negotiation about contract termination yesterday, Samson Kayode had to give up his European hope as Ha Noi T&T demanded US$ 2 million of compensation. As a result, Kayode will stay in Vietnam next season, playing for V-League 2011 runners-up, Ha Noi T&T.
and they think he would play well under that circumstance? Viet football is crazy. Vietnam should have been proud to export a player like Sam. Instead they trap him there.
ReplyDeleteThey spent a lot of money from him so it's understandable that they would want to recoup some of that back. However asking for $2M is a little bit ridiculous IMO.
