Binh Duong confirmed that both sides had agreed to terminate their current contract. Lee Nguyen, who scored 2 goals and made 3 assists in 5 appearances this season, is a free agent now. The American international is still seeking Vietnamese nationality and is expected to have it in July. It will open more chances for the 24-year-old in V-League and other Asian leagues like K-League and J-League.
Lee Nguyen is currently recovering from his foot injury. He is going to have a training stint with English side Manchester United in September.
