Merlo's hattrick was not enough for Da Nang

AFC Cup 2010 Quarter Final Leg 2:
Da Nang v Al-Riffa: 3-5 (Gaston Merlo 15' 45' 79')

V-League number-one striker Gaston Merlo scored three times but it was not enough for the host to avoid defeat. As a result, Da Nang was eliminated from AFC Cup 2010 after losing 3-8 to Al-Riffa of Bahrain on aggregate.
