AVG to buy V-League TV rights

Audio Visual Global JSC (AVG) has offered to buy 20-year exclusive TV rights to broadcast V-League. If VFF and AVG can come to an agreement, the highest governing body of Vietnamese football will get around US$500,000 for the first season, V-League 2011, and the amount will increase in coming years. VFF and AVG are now under negotiation and a deal could be imminent.

For V-League 2010, VFF sold TV rights to VTV, VTC and some local broadcasting companies for about 4 billion VND (US$210,000). For 2009, it was US$130,000.
