If Navibank Sai Gon is relegated at the end of this season, there will be no team representing Ho Chi Minh City, which was once one of the most glorious football cities of Vietnam in history, next V-League season. Another Sai Gon-based club, Ho Chi Minh FC, is also facing relegation threat in the First Division.
